The article “Transformer Design for an LLC DC-DC Converter with Variable Input and Wide Output Voltage Range” was awarded the Best Paper prize at the 9th edition of the International Young Engineers Forum on Electrical and Computer Engineering (YEF-ECE 2025).

This international recognition highlights the scientific merit and innovation of the work developed in the field of power electronics, particularly in the design of transformers for DC-DC converters with high efficiency and a wide operating range. The award also highlights the ongoing commitment of the Department of Industrial Electronics at the University of Minho to excellence in applied research.

YEF-ECE 2025 is an international conference that brings together young researchers and top engineers to share knowledge and advances in electrical and computer engineering.
