RoboParty 2026 – Registrations Open
Registration is open for RoboParty 2026, which takes place from March 25th to 27th.
RoboParty® is an educational event that brings together teams of 4 people for 3 days and two nights (bring your sleeping bag) to teach how to build autonomous mobile robots in a simple, fun way, with support from qualified people. It is organized by the Automation and Robotics Laboratory of the University of Minho and botnroll.com. Initially, a short training session is given (to learn the first steps in electronics, robot programming, and mechanical construction). Then, a botnroll One A+ robotic KIT developed by botnroll.com is given to be assembled by the participants (mechanics, electronics, and programming), and at the end of the event, the robot belongs to the team. All teams have support from knowledgeable people to help with the construction and programming of their robot.
Other recreational activities such as sports, music, internet, games, parties, etc., take place in parallel.
RoboParty® is identical to a LAN Party and also operates 24/7, but it has a pedagogical and educational purpose.
For this edition we highlight:
– A huge surprise involving humanoid robots
– Construction and programming of the Bot’n Roll ONE A+
– Free weekend! RoboParty takes place from Wednesday to Friday
– The CrazyRace challenge has new rules
– The robot now includes a line follower
– New certified training for teachers
– You will learn how to participate in national and international robotics competitions with your botnroll
