Luís Barros, PhD Alumni in Electronic and Computer Engineering at the ALGORITMI Center of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, won 2nd Place in the APREN 2023 Prize in the category of best Doctoral Thesis
The work entitled “Smart Power Conditioners for Electric Railway Power Grids”, was supervised by Professor Gabriel Pinto, from the Department of Industrial Electronics of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho and by Professor António Pina Martins, from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Minho. Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
The awards ceremony took place on February 23, 2024, at the EPIC SANA Marquês hotel, in Lisbon.
