The University of Minho, through the Department of Industrial Electronics (DEI), is preparing to host the 17th edition of RoboParty, which will take place from the 5th to the 7th of March 2025, at the Sports Pavilion on the Azurém campus, in Guimarães.

The pedagogical and technological event brings together teams of four for three days and two nights of intensive learning and robotics challenges. The main objective is to teach the construction and programming of autonomous mobile robots, in a simple and interactive way, with the support of specialized professionals.

Immersive robotics experience

RoboParty stands out for providing a unique experience, where anyone can participate, regardless of their level of knowledge in electronics or programming. Each team receives a Bot’n Roll ONE A+ robotic kit, developed exclusively for the event and compatible with Arduino, allowing participants to continue exploring robotics after the end of the competition.

In addition to building the robot, participants will have access to:
✔ Specialized workshops on electronics and programming.
✔ Playful and sporting activities to promote team spirit.
✔ Practical challenges, where robots are tested in various tests.

For visitors, RoboParty is a fascinating experience to follow the entire assembly process and the teams’ robotic challenges.
