The 2026 Electronic Engineering Conference at UMinho will take place from February 9th to 12th, 2026 at the Azurém Campus in Guimarães.
Organized by the Student Group of Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering (NEEEICUM), the event brings together students, faculty members, professionals and companies from the Electronics, IT and Industrial sectors, strengthening the connection between academia and the business ecosystem.
Over the past years, JEE has shown continuous growth in participation and relevance, becoming one of the most significant student events of UMinho’s School of Engineering and a key platform for preparing students for the job market.

Event Program
February 9 – Opening Session
The 2026 edition begins at 09:00 in the Auditório Nobre of the School of Engineering, marking the official opening of JEE26.
February 10 – Job Fair and Speed‑Interviews
In the morning, from 10:00 onwards, the entrance area of the Azurém Campus Nave will host the JEE26 Job Fair, where participants can directly engage with sponsoring companies.
In the afternoon, from 14:30 onwards, speed‑interviews will take place—short, fast‑paced mock interviews with recruiters that simulate real selection processes and help students train essential professional skills.
February 11 – Talks, Interviews, Debates and DigitalInside/SAPO Coverage
February 11 will be entirely dedicated to talks, round tables and debates with prominent guests, featuring a special partnership with DigitalInside, a digital journalism platform that will conduct interviews and produce reports throughout the day for the SAPO channel: 🔗 https://digitalinside.sapo.pt/

These visits allow students to explore industrial facilities, laboratories, and innovation centers, complementing their academic training.
Four Days of Technical Development, Learning and Industry Engagement
